About new arrivals, sales & special offers
The Italian label Complice was part of the Genny group owned by the Girombelli family which also included the labels Genny & Callaghan, all three of which were originally designed by a young Gianni Versace before he founded his own company. After Versace's departure, the Girombelli family - who described their vision for the Genny group & its associated brands as "a succinct combination of straightforward American sportswear and Italian flair" - would go on to tap other young up & comers to design for Genny, with notable hires including Claude Montana in the 80's and Dolce & Gabbana in the 90's. This shirt dates to Montana's early 80's tenure at the brand & is made from red & black check silk chiffon, the scarf version of which appears in the season's ad campaign. You can see from the iamge just how fiune & sheer the silk chiffon is! It features a black collar & cuffs and contrast red stitched button holes. A chic & sporty piece, we love this paired with black leather pants.
